CBC COMPLETES TOPPING OUT OF THE SUNFAIR GARMENT DORMITORY & COFFEE SHOP PROJECT IN CAMBODIA
As Cambodia's garment manufacturing industry continues to expand, investment in supporting infrastructure has become increasingly important. Facilities such as worker accommodation, residential amenities and community spaces play a vital role in enhancing employee well-being, strengthening workforce stability and supporting the long-term operation of modern manufacturing facilities.
Within industrial construction, the Topping Out Ceremony represents a major construction milestone. It signifies the completion of the building's primary structural framework and the transition into the finishing phase. More importantly, it reflects effective project management, construction quality and schedule control throughout the structural construction stage.
Continuing its positive project progress, CBC Construction, together with Sunfair Garment Co., Ltd., successfully celebrated the Topping Out Ceremony for the Sunfair Garment Dormitory & Coffee Shop Project at Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone (PPSEZ), Cambodia, marking another significant milestone toward project completion..png)
DEVELOPING ESSENTIAL FACILITIES FOR THE SUNFAIR GARMENT MANUFACTURING COMPLEX
Developed within the Sunfair Garment manufacturing complex, the project is designed to provide modern accommodation and daily amenities that enhance the living environment for employees while supporting the overall operation of the factory.
The project occupies approximately 20,000 m² and includes two seven-storey dormitory buildings together with one Coffee Shop, creating a functional living environment for workers and providing essential support facilities within the manufacturing campus.
Across today's garment manufacturing industry, investment in worker accommodation has become an increasingly important component of sustainable factory development. High-quality residential facilities not only improve employees' quality of life but also contribute to workforce retention, operational efficiency and long-term business growth.
With the structural framework now completed, the project has officially entered the finishing phase, including architectural works, MEP installation and technical infrastructure, bringing the development one step closer to handover.
